1. What this website uses
This version of checkpoint-sports.com does not integrate advertising trackers, audience measurement, third-party video embeds or marketing pixels. Images are served through the website’s infrastructure.
Language selection may set a functional cookie named NEXT_LOCALE, containing only “fr” or “en”. It is used to remember your language preference, not to track your activity.
2. Functional language cookie
| Name | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| NEXT_LOCALE | Remember your language choice. Set by this website. | Browser session; removed when the browser ends the session, subject to its session restore settings. |
3. Why there is no consent banner
We do not use cookies that require your prior consent in this version. A cookie used solely to remember a language preference can be exempt from consent under the applicable rules. The cookie information remains accessible from every page’s footer.
If trackers requiring consent are introduced, they must remain blocked until you agree. Accepting and refusing must be equally easy, choices must be specific and consent must be withdrawable.
4. Your controls and external services
You can remove or block cookies in your browser settings and choose your language using the language link. Blocking the language cookie may prevent your preference from being remembered.
Opening an App Store, Google Play or other external link takes you to a different service whose own rules apply. Hosting services can process technical request information even without cookies. This is described in our privacy policy.
